Premise

The story introduces Excalibur, the first superhero team of the United Kingdom, formed by Kitty Pryde, Rachel Summers, and Nightcrawler. They are joined by Captain Britain (Brian Braddock) and his shape-shifting lover Meggan   The team is created in the wake of the X-Men’s presumed disappearance, filling a heroic void in the UK
